Process development
The kojic acid fermentation process can be divided into 3 main phases include stock culture and inoculums development phase, production phase and downstream processing phase.
Our strain
The strain which is isolated by our principal reseacher capable for kojic acid production up to 60 g/L. This research has began since 1994 in Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)
